AS A SENIOR SOFTWARE ENGINEER - DATA INFRASTRUCTURE, YOU WILL:Drive impactful initiatives for the globally distributed infrastructureInnovate and build highly secured and reliable designs for real-time ingestion, replication, performance, and scalability.Design for infrastructure to survive system outages, and provide a framework for handling critical systems.Collaborate with product managers, architects, other engineering teams, data science organizations, and business groups, to drive end-to-end solutionsEnsure operational readiness of the services and meet the commitments to our customers regarding reliability, availability, and performance.OUR IDEAL SENIOR SOFTWARE ENGINEER - DATA INFRASTRUCTURE WILL HAVE:10+ years of industry experience designing, building, and supporting systems and large-scale data processing systems in productionExtremely strong fundamental computer science skillsStrong Knowledge of Algorithms and Data StructuresFluency in Java, Python and SQLKnowledge of databases and distributed systemsBS/MS/PhD in Computer Science or related majors, or equivalent experienceEvery Snowflake employee is expected to follow the company's confidentiality and security standards for handling sensitive data. It is every employee's duty to keep customer information secure and confidential.The following represents the expected range of compensation for this role: The estimated base salary range for this role is $214,000 - $327,750.Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in Snowflake's bonus and equity plan.The successful candidate's starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location.
