Responsibilities: • Oversee month-end closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting. • Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring all entries are properly recorded. • Prepare and post journal entries while ensuring compliance with accounting standards. • Conduct detailed account reconciliation to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies. • Perform bank reconciliations to verify financial transactions and balances. • Analyze financial data to provide insights and recommendations. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial operations. • Assist in audits by preparing necessary documentation and responding to inquiries. • Ensure adherence to internal controls and accounting policies. • Continuously improve accounting processes for greater efficiency. Moore) • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (desired not required) • Proven experience in a senior accounting role with month-end close responsibilities. • Strong proficiency in managing general ledger and journal entries. • Expertise in account and bank reconciliations. • Familiarity with accounting software and financial reporting tools. • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail. • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities. • Knowledge of GAAP and other relevant accounting standards.
