Job Title: Administrative Business Partner Location: 1 DNA Way, South San Francisco, CA 94080 Duration: 6-month contract (possible extension or conversion) Pay Rate: $21.66 $34.96/hr (W2) Benefits: Weekly pay, Medical, Dental, and Vision coverage Position Summary The Administrative Business Partner provides high-quality, proactive administrative support to business partners and teams. This role requires strong interpersonal skills, the ability to work effectively with diverse groups, and the capacity to manage a high volume of routine tasks alongside more complex projects. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, responds quickly to shifting priorities, and consistently delivers accurate, timely work. Success in this role comes not only from completing tasks, but from anticipating needs, improving workflows, and collaborating effectively with fellow administrative professionals. Key Responsibilities Anticipate business partner needs and prioritize administrative activities accordingly. Support and manage multiple technology platforms for meetings: in-room systems, video conferencing, Google Meet, Zoom, and global webcast tools. Schedule and coordinate external candidate interviews, new-hire onboarding, and orientation activities. Submit and track facilities, IT, and Site Services requests. Handle purchase orders, contracts, invoices, vendor maintenance, and payment tracking. Manage complex, high-volume calendars and schedule large or multi-stakeholder meetings. Perform general office operations, including: Booking travel arrangements Processing expenses and payments Maintaining electronic filing systems Ordering food, supplies, and event materials Greeting visitors and ensuring policy compliance Facilitating communication across teams, departments, and functions Participating in administrative team meetings and cross-functional projects Plan, coordinate, and support meetings, events, and off-site activities. Manage deadlines for business priorities and project-based assignments. Collaborate with administrative peers on complex, multi-department initiatives. Required Skills & Competencies Sound judgment when handling confidential, sensitive, or complex information. Flexibility to take direction from business partners and collaborate with administrative teams. Strong self-management skills to independently organize work, plan ahead, and prioritize effectively. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making capabilities. High attention to detail with a commitment to delivering exceptional customer support. Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment. Strong follow-through and ability to balance multiple tasks and unexpected requests while maintaining a positive, professional demeanor. Work & Physical Requirements Ability to respond to information requests during core business hours (MondayFriday). Proven ability to manage confidential and sensitive documentation. Ability to sit or stand for at least 6 hours per day. Comfortable with extended periods of computer work, including keying and mousing. Ability to lift up to 15 lbs when needed. Qualifications 23 years of prior administrative experience. Strong proficiency with Google Workspace (Gmail, Calendar, Drive, Docs, Sheets, etc.). Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
