Senior Product Manager, Low Voltage ArchitectureHybrid: This role is categorized as hybrid. The successful candidate is expected to report to the Technical/Innovation Center in Mountain View (CA) or Warren (MI) at least three times per week. The position can be located at either of these two locations.The Software & Services division of General Motors is responsible for defining and delivering software, electrical hardware, and services that enable and support GM vehicles. This includes mechatronic infrastructure, OnStar connected services, infotainment systems, and autonomous driving, all aimed at creating compelling vehicle experiences.Our goal in Software & Services Product Management is to foster a world-class software development culture aligned with the company's vision. We aim to develop an elite portfolio of software-defined vehicles by integrating software, hardware, and services seamlessly to enhance customer experiences.About the TeamThe Low Voltage Product team focuses on innovation and system optimization across hardware components. The low voltage software ensures efficient power management, scalable data-driven solutions, and supports business growth and customer experience by enhancing safety, reducing warranty claims, increasing energy efficiency, and improving overall satisfaction.The RoleWe seek a dynamic, experienced Senior Product Manager for Low Voltage Architecture, with expertise in product vision, strategy development in global environments, and stakeholder alignment. The ideal candidate will excel at building relationships, navigating organizational dynamics, and leading teams to stay ahead of competitors through modern technology and customer-centric solutions.The candidate should be passionate and knowledgeable about state-of-the-art Software-defined Vehicle Electrical & Electronic (EE) architectures, vehicle platform infrastructure software, low voltage hardware (e.g., Li-ion batteries, Fail Operational Power, DCDC), low voltage power management software, semiconductors & electronics, wiring harnesses, and committed to delivering high-quality, customer-centric, and strategically viable products.What You'll Do

  • Develop the vision for next-generation low voltage architecture to optimize system performance from hardware and software perspectives.
  • Manage and drive product initiatives across the organization.
  • Contribute to defining the product vision, strategy, and roadmap based on customer needs and market trends.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align product goals and priorities.
  • Conduct market research, competitor benchmarking, and analysis to identify opportunities and threats.
  • Develop and manage product requirements, including customer stories, use cases, and business cases.
  • Create and maintain product strategy documents for stakeholders, including senior leadership.
  • Manage product backlogs and prioritize initiatives based on business value, customer needs, and technical feasibility.
  • Define and monitor KPIs to measure product success and guide decisions.
  • Communicate updates, progress, and plans to stakeholders, including executives, customers, and partners.
  • Manage product launches with go-to-market strategies and cross-functional coordination.
  • Conduct post-launch analysis to evaluate performance and identify improvements.
  • Continuously iterate and enhance the product based on feedback, market trends, and business goals.
