Registered Nurse (RN) | Operating Room Location: Fremont, CA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $3,219 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/23/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified OR RN in Fremont, California, 94538! Registered Nurse, Operating Room, 13 months, Day Shift, 5 hours per shift, Minimum 5 years of recent relevant experience, Registered Nurse License, BLS, ACLS, Ambulatory Surgery Center Experience Required. Description: Conduct patient and family assessments encompassing physiological, spiritual, and emotional areas. Collaborate and communicate with physicians and other members of the healthcare team to interpret, adjust, and coordinate preoperative and/or postoperative patient care plans to ensure continuity of care. Partner with peers and other healthcare providers to effectively streamline patient workflow, improve patient outcomes, and provide high-quality care. Communicate the patient's plan of care to team members. Provide competent, compassionate, and cost-effective patient care in accordance with established policies and standards. Maintain a safe, comfortable, and therapeutic environment for each patient and their families. Delegate tasks appropriately to team members based on scope of practice and individual capability. Lead the team in participating in the time-out process. Maintain effective communication with patients and families, ensuring understanding through teach-back methods. Deliver safe and effective patient care in compliance with established policies and regulations. Ensure the confidentiality of all patient protected health information. Remain current in advancements and best practices related to acute care and nursing practice. Participate in quality improvement activities within the facility. Monitor patient care interventions and assess therapies and outcomes. Reassess and evaluate each patient's response to the plan of care and make necessary adjustments. Document treatment information accurately in the patient's electronic health record. Develop and implement formal teaching and transition planning that includes the patient and family. Enforce sterile technique among the surgical team and actively monitor the environment to maintain sterility throughout procedures. Participate as a member of the team to promote a positive working environment. Provide orientation and training to new staff members and assist with patient transport and positioning. Perform room turnover and cleanup as needed. Perform sterile processing functions as necessary. Demonstrate knowledge of nursing theories, concepts, and practices, as well as medical terminology and anatomy. Exhibit written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey sensitive information. Possess basic knowledge of computer applications and the ability to prioritize assignments.
