COVID and a long winter of being told to take care of more and more
patients with fewer and fewer resources, critical care transport is
just the thing for you. Imagine always having a 1:1 ratio, getting
time to actually talk with your patients and getting to work in the
fresh air! Add to this, working on our brand new CCL-150 critical
care ambulances along with two specially trained CCT-EMTs as your
teammates and your mood has just changed forever. It has been a
historically rough couple years to be at the bedside. Many of us
could use a change of sceneryWelcome to CCT. Eagle Ambulance is led

healthcare. POSITION SUMMARY: An Eagle Ambulance Critical Care
Transport RN performs critical care nursing in a semi- autonomous
mobile care environment. Additionally CCT-RNs are required to
provide basic and advanced adult and pediatric life support as
needed. Our critical care transport nurses are responsible for
providing care to a wide range of patients including critically ill
and injured patients during inter-facility transports. Our care is
rendered in full compliance with the California Nurse Practice Act
under the leadership and training of our Medical and Clinical
directors. Requirements: ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for: Full patient assessments Complete documentation of
care CCT Team Leadership Rapidly adapting to changing patient care
needs Providing exemplary customer service Adapting care to
delivery protocols and mobile environment Interacting with
treatment teams to develop optimal care approaches Providing
exceptional quality nursing care in the transport environment in
accordance with established Eagle CCT program policies, protocols,
standing orders, and under the medical control of the sending
physician and medical director Providing patient care within the
Registered Nurse scope of practice as defined by the Board of
Registered Nursing and per CCT standardized procedure Performing
other duties as assigned. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Current
unrestricted CA Registered Nurse License ACLS, PALS, BLS provider
status. CEN/CCRN/CFRN/TNCC/ENPC preferred CA Drivers License.
Minimum 2 years of current critical care experience (i.e., ICU,
CCU, PACU, or ER), which includes the following: Management of the
unstable patient Management of the vented patient Management of the
patient requiring invasive hemodynamic monitoring Knowledge of
professional nursing practice and theory. Ability to assess, plan,
organize, implement and evaluate patient care activities. Ability
to function independently; to prioritize, delegate and utilize
critical thinking skills in a variety of patient care situations.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
with fellow personnel, patients and their families, hospital staff,
the public, and other collaborating agencies. PHYSICAL
REQUIREMENTS: Frequently: kneeling, stooping, bending, leaning,
flexibility, and multiple physical activities performed at the same
time (carrying multiple equipment while pushing on pram).
Constantly: hearing/listening, clear speech, simple touching,
walking (inside and outside), pushing, pulling, reaching, sitting,
driving ambulance, seeing.
