CT Tech Location: Antioch, CA Agency: Diverse Lynx LLC Pay: $70 to $75 per hour Shift Information: Evenings - 4 days x 10 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/9/2026 About the Position Assignment Details Position: CT Technologist Shift: Days, evenings and/or nights including weekends Patient Population: Neonatal, Pediatric, Adolescent, Adult, Geriatric (including high-risk and critically ill patients) Job Summary The CT Technologist coordinates and produces quality computerized tomography (CT) studies and assists in CT-guided procedures. Demonstrates critical thinking skills, knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy/physiology, radiation safety, venipuncture, and safe medication administration specific to contrast media and adjunct medications. Responsible for safe operation of imaging and ancillary equipment, accurate documentation, image transmission and storage, professional communication, and accurate charge capture. Job Accountabilities Performs quality CT examinations for physician review. Coordinates CT exams according to physician order and protocol. Protocols examinations based on established guidelines and clinical history. Performs venipuncture and medication administration safely and effectively. Accurately documents care in the electronic health record (EHR). Assesses patients prior to exams to ensure safety and cooperation. Educates patients and addresses questions prior to CT exams. Demonstrates proficiency with PACS to transmit, archive, and retrieve digital images. Education Successful graduation from a Joint Commission approved School of Radiologic Technology. Associate?s Degree in Radiologic Sciences (or equivalent experience). Certification & Licensure (Upon Hire) ARRT ? Radiography ARRT ? CT CRT ? Certified Radiologic Technologist IV Certification BLS ? Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider RHF ? Radiology Fluoroscopy (within 180 days of hire) Preferred Experience Previous experience in an acute care facility preferred Skills and Knowledge Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and technical imaging factors. Proficiency with multiple computerized systems. Proficiency with PACS systems. Compliance with all Federal, State, and local regulatory requirements.
