Job Description Job Description Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1 year of Occupational Therapy experience required. An opportunity is available for a skilled occupational therapist to provide part-time services in a school setting located in Redwood City, CA. This travel position involves delivering occupational therapy support to students across a K-12th grade caseload, focusing on enhancing their functional abilities and academic participation. Key Qualifications: Valid occupational therapy licensure Experience working with school-aged children, preferably K-12 Strong knowledge of school-based OT interventions and educational regulations Ability to develop and implement individualized therapy plans Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with educators and families Location:Redwood City, California this role requires travel to the site Position Details: Part-time commitment of 1 day per week 8 hours per week of direct therapy and related responsibilities Caseload includes a diverse group of students from kindergarten through 12th grade Additional details and expectations will be discussed during the interview process Responsibilities: Assess students occupational therapy needs and develop tailored intervention plans Provide direct therapy services aimed at improving fine motor skills, sensory processing, and self-care abilities Collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student progress Document therapy sessions and maintain compliance with school regulations Participate in team meetings and contribute to individualized education program (IEP) goals This position offers the chance to apply your school-based OT expertise in a setting focused on student growth and development.
