Our client located in South San Francisco has a job opportunity for a Data Integration Engineer to join their team. The Data Integration Engineer will play a critical role in acquiring mission critical data that is the basis of their latest product offerings.

Responsibilities:
 
Build strong working relationships with team members and stakeholders
• Study and understand details of internal systems
• Elicit integration requirements from stakeholders
• Learn and understand the details of external data connectors
• Design and Implement data integrations
• Work and interact daily with an Agile team using Agile practices
• Showcase resilient designs through automated testing mechanisms
• Manage all aspects of technical assets professionally through source control, proper documentation, etc…  as determined by your self managing team and management policies
 
Required Skills:
 
Analysis of technical systems and interfaces
• Ability to implement integration validation mechanisms
• Ability to designed data integrations using modern practices and patterns for scalability and availability
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Competency with various programming and scripting languages used for data integration
• Proficiency with Data stores both relational and non-relational.  
• Basic data modeling and query skills with relational and non-relational Data stores
• Proficiency with source control systems
• Competency with AWS Cloud structures
 
Required Experience:
 
Scripting languages such as Ruby, Powershell, Python, etc…
• AS2 protocol integration experience
• XML experience in an integration scenario
• Database experience with table or document based functions
• Agile based team development experience
