Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent
practical experience. 15 years of experience in software
development, with 10 years in a technical leadership role.
Experience leading and managing a team of software engineers.
Experience in one or more of the following areas: AI/ML, platform
development, distributed systems, cybersecurity. Preferred
qualifications: Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or a
related technical field. Experience building and scaling AI
platforms, infrastructure, and end-to-end security solutions.
Experience building and leading large-scale, distributed
engineering teams and setting long-term technical vision. Strong
ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders, from
engineers to senior executives. Excellent communication skills with
a track record of driving cross-functional technical strategy. Deep
expertise in AI/ML, specifically with large language models and

and Threat Operations (GUSTO) AI Platform and Enablement team is on

problems. The US base salary range for this full-time position is
$307,000-$427,000 bonus equity benefits. Our salary ranges are
determined by role, level, and location. Within the range,
individual pay is determined by work location and additional
factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant

Responsibilities Lead and mentor a high-performing, distributed
engineering team, fostering technical excellence and continuous
learning. Define and execute the long-term technical strategy and
roadmap for the AI Platform and Enablement team and advise GUSTO
leadership on strategic AI investments and trends. Drive the
design, development, and scaling of a common AI platform to
accelerate the delivery of AI-powered security features. Foster a
culture of innovation and enablement, empowering GUSTO teams to
build high-quality AI features through robust frameworks. Lead the
development of flagship, end-to-end AI-driven security solutions
from research to production and partner with cross-functional teams
to ensure impactful customer value.
