Location: Newark, CA Shift: Day Shift Pay Rate: $21.00 – $22.50 per
hour Job Summary We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented
Material Handler to support day-to-day warehouse operations. This
role is responsible for receiving, storing, issuing, and tracking
materials while maintaining accurate inventory records and a clean,
safe work environment. Key Responsibilities Receive, count, and
record incoming stock manually or using a computer system Pack and
unpack materials for storage in warehouse or stockroom areas Verify
inventory by comparing physical counts to system records and
resolve discrepancies Store materials in an organized and
accessible manner Label and mark inventory using tags, stamps, or
marking tools Inspect stock items for wear or damage and report
issues to supervisors Maintain cleanliness of storage areas, tools,
and equipment to meet safety standards Track usage and damage of
inventory and stock-handling equipment Assist and support other
warehouse team members as needed Required Skills & Experience
Verbal and written communication skills Strong attention to detail
and organizational skills Basic analytical and problem-solving
abilities Team-oriented with a strong work ethic Knowledge of
warehouse safety practices Equipment Experience (Required) Electric
Pallet Jack Stand-Up Forklift Receiving and Shipping operations
Basic industrial maintenance exposure preferred Education &
Experience High School Diploma or GED required 0–2 years of
warehouse or material handling experience Work Environment
Warehouse setting Must be able to safely lift, move, and handle
materials Adherence to safety and security procedures is required
