Senior Scientific Researcher

The Department of Translational Oncology is seeking a highly
motivated, productive and creative Scientific Researcher to perform
discovery research in the area of NK cells and cancer. This is a
hands-on laboratory position. The candidate should be adept at
independently designing, executing and interpreting experiments.
She or he will implement and apply cellular and molecular
immunology, single cell profiling, gene-editing, organoid and mouse
models to investigate anti-tumor immunity and develop approaches to
boost the immune response to cancer. The candidate is expected to
work both individually and collaboratively at the bench and in
discussions. She or he should have a strong desire to contribute to
our mission of translating basic science and drug development
expertise into meaningful, long-lasting benefit for patients.
As a strong candidate, you will have:
- PhD in immunology, oncology, or cancer immunotherapy with at
least 2 years of research experience in an academic or industry
- Track record of completing challenging technical problems
independently and creatively, exemplified by publication of
research in high-quality scientific journals.
- Strong background in NK cell biology, innate immunity,
molecular signaling and cancer biology.
- Technical expertise in the specific areas listed above.
- Experience in NGS data analysis.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Good oral/written communication skills.
