How will you make an impact?

You will lead the post-contractual relationship, alliance development and program execution with strategic third-party partners to successfully expand product-development capacity and effectiveness.

The Sr. Staff Alliance Manager will also drive the alignment of internal resources R&D, Regulatory Affairs, Quality, Manufacturing, Operations, and Divisional Business Teams] to support strategic projects within agreed upon timelines.

What will you do?

  • You’ll develop and manage strategic partnerships, providing analysis and selection input to Sr. Management to set the alliance strategy and tactics, building trust and value through effective negotiations, operational planning, and risk-management to meet business objectives.
  • You’ll lead alliance communications, progress monitoring, and decision-making processes to effectively manage each alliance toward the mutual success of both parties, providing clear and concise written and verbal communication to all levels and stakeholders, and tailoring style to a broad range of audiences and situations.
  • You’ll drive and track day-to-day alliance work and contract governance activities, in conjunction with external partner contacts and internal program managers and functional resource managers, making sure that problems are rapidly identified and resolved, and applying state-of-the-art alliance management tools and techniques, including ASAP best-practices, to deliver on commitments and in some instances adhere to specific regulatory requirements.

How will you get here?

  • Bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Engineering or Life Science required; CA-AM Certification, MBA, MS or Ph.D. preferred.
  • 10+ years of life science, medical device, or pharmaceutical experience in alliance management or a combination of alliance management and product development, product management, project management or business development; experience with genetic analysis technologies and in-vitro diagnostics preferred.
  • Fluent in English.
