Multiple Positions, Kids in Need of DefenseKIND is hiring for the following positions:Interim Senior Attorney

• Provide technical assistance and training to pro bono teams who are representing unaccompanied children in New York.
• Oversee a team of six attorneys and paralegals.
• Spanish language preferred but not required.
• This is a temporary position to cover a parental leave. The ideal candidate will begin work in mid-June 2022 for an approximate 4-month term.Staff Attorney - Released Program
  • Provide representation and legal assistance to unaccompanied children who are residing in New York City.
  • Advanced Spanish fluency required.
  • This is a permanent full-time position.Senior Paralegal - Released Program
    • Oversee the overall programmatic function of the New York office's paralegal program.
    • Provide Know Your Rights presentations and conduct intakes for unaccompanied children currently residing in New York.
    • Assist KIND attorneys in their direct representation of unaccompanied children.
