AbbVie Interns. Department & Function: Drug Metabolism and
pharmacokinetics (DMPK-BA) - DMPK-BA scientists work within a
matrix environment to identify molecules with the best chemical
properties to target a specific disease. Scientists work in a
collaborative cross-functional environment to understand the
metabolism, excretion and pharmacokinetic properties of each
candidate therapeutic. Key Responsibilities Include: Flow cytometry
(FACS) panel design and optimization to support clinical trial
needs Work as part of a highly collaborative interdisciplinary team
in an integrated research laboratory Conduct laboratory studies in
support of biomarker/diagnostic strategy development and execution
of individual immune-oncology and immunology R&D projects
Design and implement biomarker strategy for use in oncology
clinical trials Qualifications MinimumQualifications Currently
enrolled in university pursuing aBachelors Degree in a laboratory
science (Immunology, Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry) or other
related field Must be enrolled in university for at least one
semester following the internship Junior or senior in college
Expected graduation datebetween December 2026 June 2027 Preferred
Qualifications Basic wet lab experience Elementary understanding of
