transforming your career. Computational Biology Grad Intern What
You Will Do Lets do this. Lets change the world. During this
program, you will analyze cutting-edge single-cell and spatial
transcriptomics data in clinical setting, closely collaborate with
members of Precision Medicine Computational Biology and other PMed
teams on advancing our capabilities in single-cell and spatial data
analysis and pipeline development Test new algorithms on
single-cell and spatial transcriptomics data for accuracy and
efficiency. Assist in the expansion and optimization of our
in-house single-cell and spatial data analysis pipeline. Work
within an interdisciplinary team to integrate cutting-edge tools
and technologies and advance the understanding of disease biology
and associate with clinical data Contribute easily maintainable,
robust, and flexible code for single-cell and spatial analysis
pipelines. Present findings and progress to the department,
effectively communicating methodologies, results and potential

talented, creative and motivated summer intern with these
qualifications: Basic Qualifications: Amgen requires that all
individuals applying for a grad internship assignment at Amgen must
meet the following criteria: 18 years or older Graduated with a
bachelors degree from an accredited college or university Currently
enrolled in an MBA program for an MBA internship OR a Masters
program for a Masters internship OR a PharmD program for a PharmD
internship OR Ph.D. for a PhD internship from an accredited college
or university and completion of the first year of MBA OR Masters OR
Pharm D OR Ph.D. program before the internship starts Enrolled in
an accredited college or university following the potential
internship assignment Must not be employed at the time the
internship starts Student must be located in the United States for
the duration of the internship Preferred Qualifications: Have
experience in single-cell and spatial omics (e.g., CosMx, Visium HD
and Xenium) data analysis Working knowledge of drug discovery and
development process Demonstrable programming experience with CUDA,
GPU, and parallelization experience a plus. Experience with version
control software (git) Ability to work in a highly matrixed
environment and drive scientific and technical innovation
collaboratively with the team members and Amgen broad scientific
community Strong verbal communication and presentation skills
Familiarity with machine learning and deep learning methodologies,
with practical experience in building and applying foundation

opportunity in the U.S. is $30-$40 per hour Build a network of
